The iPod has revolutionized the way a lot of us listen to music. Now the fifth-generation iPod had been introduced with a new promise-handheld video. This means you can store your favorite shows, music videos and even movies on your portable handheld device and watch when you are on the go. This is how to download movies onto your iPod

  1. Step 1

Get an account with an online network that provides a varied choice of movies to downloading for a price, such as iTunes. Install iTunes 6 and the iPod software from the CD that came along with your iPod package.

  2. Step 2

Search through the list of movies available in the iTunes store and click on the one you would like to have on your iPod. Click on the "Video iPod/Sony PSP," then click on the "Download" option. Save the file on the computer. The purchase can be verified by clicking on the "Movies" tab in the "Library" pane or "Purchased" in "Store."

  3. Step 3

Connect the iPod to the computer and start the iTunes program. To add the movie to your collection, go to "Add file to the Library" and select "Open."

  4. Step 4

Go to "Preferences" in the "Edit" menu, select "iPod," then "Videos" and click on "Update all videos automatically." Click "OK" and allow the update. This command will enable the movie to be copied to the iPod.

  5. Step 5

View the downloaded movie on the iPod, by clicking on "Videos" and then selecting "Movies."
