How to Fix Ipod Touch with a White Screen

User-Submitted Article

If you have had problem with your ipod touch or phone with the screen turning white. I will show you how to fix it.With a system reboot

  1. Step 1

This is actually really easy to do. This called a hard reboot. All you have to do is hold the home button and the power button down at the same time for 30 to 40 seconds or until you get a Apple sign on your screen. This will reboot your ipod.

  2. Step 2

If this does not work there is one other thing you can try to do. Hook your ipod touch up to your computer that you use itunes on. Itunes will detect a problem with your ipod. You can try a restore of your ipod from your computer.

  3. Step 3

If this does not work its time to return or send your ipod back to apple so they can repair it. I talked on the phone with a apple technical support agent and this is what he had me do. So to save you a 45 minute phone call try this out.
